Clem Carinalli asks court for permission to hire his bankruptcy lawyers to defend the North Coast Bank fraud case

The debtors are asking the Bankruptcy Court to approve  Mr. Carinalli’s employment of the Meyers Law Group as his defense attorneys in the fraud case brought by North Coast Bank.  Mr. Carinalli proposes paying for his defense from his income after the plan is confirmed, including the funds he will receive for his consulting work for the creditors’ trust.

The salary and potential bonus that Santa Rosa developer Clem Carinalli would receive as part of his bankruptcy plan elicited strong emotions among his investors Thursday. More
